This year's Lovebox Weekender festival on 18 and 19 June plays host to a star-studded line-up... with a definite gay-friendly focus. Acts include Grace Jones, Hot Chip, Peaches, Hercules & Love Affair and DJs Horse Meat Disco, Trailer Trash and Salvation. It only makes sense, therefore, that Stonewall should be the official charity partner of the festival!

HIV and AIDS sufferers face a severe reduction in the health services available to them, after Communities Secretary Eric Pickles announced that the AIDS Support Grant will no longer be provided to HIV and AIDS charities.

The Prime Minister has ignored the editor/publishers of leading lesbian magazine and current Stonewall Publication of the Year g3 (www.g3mag.co.uk) in his invitations to next week's LGBT reception at Downing Street.

Ofcom study shows public deems "lezza" an acceptable insult

Media Regulator Ofcom clears any possible confusion as to which curse words are acceptable to the public, ranking "fuck" as the most intolerable and words like "mental", "lezza", and "Jesus Christ", among the most excusable.
