Training Tips of the Month: Crunches

This month's quick tips on busting those abs.

•Inhale at the start of the exercise and exhale at the
top of the movement.
•Always rest your head/neck gently on the palms of your
hands. Don’t pull your head forward with your hands!
•Abdominal exercises strengthen and tone your muscles.
If you have any excess fat around your mid-section,
then the only answer is to combine aerobic training
with your Ab workout.
•Make sure that your lower back remains in contact with
the floor during the abdominal and oblique crunch.
