NEWS>> Equality Walk in Brighton

The 10km sponsored walk is a great way to take in Brighton’s sights, sunshine (fingers crossed!) and sea air. Hundreds of Stonewall supporters from across the UK are set to come together to celebrate recent successes and raise funds to ensure that the future is even brighter.

Ben Summerskill, Stonewall’s Chief Executive said, “We’re delighted to be returning to Brighton for what will be a fantastic day out. With hundreds of gay and lesbian couples tying the knot across the UK there is much to celebrate”.

“But we continue to hear distressing reports of young people afraid to go to school because of homophobic bullies and violent attacks on gay people. By taking part in this important event, you’ll not only be raising vital funds to ensure the continuation of our work, you will be contributing to the fair treatment of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people from all walks of life.”

There will be plenty to entertain you along the way and even a few pit stops for those who just can’t pass up the opportunity for a little light refreshment en route! Stonewall has teamed up with their friends at Charles Street Bar, for an exclusive post walk party and, as ever, Stonewall has secured some fantastic benefits exclusively for those who take part in the walk so make sure you get registered now!
