This year’s Ray of Light was the busiest ever, raising over £10,200 – the most the event has ever raised in a single night - bringing the total raised for the Macmillan charity to over £47,000. The Organisers want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has worked on Ray of Light, or gave their services for free, those who donated prizes for the auction and everyone who turned up and gave so generously at the door.

Also Popstarz celebrates their birthday on Friday 5 May with a rocking tribute night, Popstarz in their Eyes. On show will be Gwen Stef-phoney and indie rockers The Antarctic Monkeys, who have a full live set up and are easily as good (some even say better) as the real thing. In addition, you can drink right through to closing time under their new license.
